The Lions are now actively looking to trade long-time quarterback Matthew Stafford

The 12-year veteran was drafted by the Detroit Lions with the 1st pick in 2009

After shaking the "injury prone" label early in his career, Stafford has thrown for over 45,000 yards and 282 touchdowns all with the Lions.

The 32-year old will likely be dealt in hopes to help the Lions rebuild through the draft.

His current contract that pays him right around $43 million the next two seasons, a contending team could get an above average starter at a great rate.

The Lions allegedly want at least a first round pick in this year's draft, so you can imagine teams like Indianapolis, Carolina, Denver, New England, Washington, Chicago, and New Orleans could all have a varying level of interest.

It currently looks like Deshaun Watson might be the best available of “the off-season quarterback trade market”, but Stafford will be a nice consolation prize for someone.
