Daniel Jones is under fire after a disastrous Week 1, but the Giants QB is tuning out the noise.
Jones had a rough start to 2024:
44.3 passer rating
2 interceptions
0 points on two 4th quarter red zone trips
Giants lost 28-6 to the Vikings
Key quote from Jones: 'I'm concerned about the people in this building. I think I've got plenty of help, plenty of good coaching, plenty of good teammates to work with here.' Jones on his goal: 'I'm playing to win games. Playing to lead the team. Lead the team to score points and win games. That's always been my focus.'
The pressure is mounting:
Jones missed 11 games last season
Tommy DeVito's unexpected success raised questions
Tough schedule ahead: Browns, Cowboys, Seahawks, Bengals
Week 2 against the Commanders could be a chance to bounce back. Washington allowed 37 points to the Bucs in Week 1. Can Daniel Jones silence the critics in Week 2? Or is his time as the Giants' starter running out? Let me know what you think in the comments!
