Eagles WR A.J. Brown agrees to terms on three-year, $96 million extension

Ny: Sean Davis - 4/26/24

PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Philadelphia Eagles just quietly moved to lock up one of the NFL's elite wide receivers! A.J. Brown has agreed to a massive 3-year, $96 million contract extension. This deal includes $84 million in guaranteed money, making Brown the highest-paid wide receiver in the league with an average annual salary of $32 million, which is a serious payday for the 25-year-old superstar.

In two seasons with the Eagles, Brown has caught 194 passes, surpassing his total of 185 catches in three years with the Titans. He has accumulated 2,952 yards and 18 touchdowns in 34 games, earning two second-team All-Pro selections and Pro Bowl nods. However, he showed visible frustration in 2023 as the Eagles began to struggle. His physicality, route-running, and big-play ability made him an indispensable part of Philly's offense.

Now, the Eagles have ensured Brown will be a cornerstone of their passing attack for years to come. This extension cements his status as one of the premier wide receivers in the NFL, alongside the likes of Cooper Kupp, Justin Jefferson, and Davante Adams. With Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown leading the way, the Eagles' offense is primed for continued success. The Eagles are going all in on A.J. Brown, and the future is bright in the City of Brotherly Love.
