DETORIT, MI - Lions fans, it looks like Jared Goff is staying in the Motor City for a long time. The Lions just locked up their franchise QB to a massive 4-year, $212 MILLION extension! After Goff lead the Lions to their first NFC Championship game since 1991 last season.
$212 million over 4 years? With an option for 2028? The former No. 1 overall pick, Jared Goff is now getting paid like an elite QB. Goff had a great 2023 season, throwing for over 4,500 yards and 35 touchdowns.
Locking up their QB long-term was priority #1 for the Lions this offseason. With this deal, they have their leader and the core to build around for the next half-decade at least.
Goff bet on himself coming to Detroit and now should be set for life with this $212 million mega-extension! Let me know if you think he's worth that monster contract down below.
