The New York Jets have fired general manager Joe Douglas after more than five seasons with the team. This decision comes as part of a broader organizational overhaul, following the dismissal of head coach Robert Saleh earlier in the season.
Douglas was hired in 2019 and leaves the franchise with a record of 30 wins and 64 losses.
His firing follows a disappointing season for the Jets, who currently hold a 3-8 record. This move indicates the Jets' intention to reset and rebuild their leadership structure as they look to improve their performance moving forward.
