LAS VEGAS - OJ Simpson, a football Hall of Famer, had an extraordinary yet controversial life. On the field, he was dominant, becoming the first running back to rush for over 2,000 yards in a season with the Buffalo Bills in 1973. The Juice was a 5-time Pro Bowler and one of the best players of his era.

Off the field, Simpson's legacy was forever tarnished by the 1994 murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. Though acquitted in a highly publicized criminal trial, he was later found liable in a civil case. In 2007, Simpson was convicted of armed robbery and kidnapping in a separate incident, serving 9 years in prison.

Despite his many accomplishments, Simpson's life was marked by tragedy, controversy, and a stunning fall from grace. He remained a polarizing figure until the end. Condolences go out to O.J.'s family, friends, and all those impacted by his remarkable yet troubled life. He was one of the most infamous figures in sports history.
