The NFL has officially announced that Mercedes-Benz Stadium will be the venue for Super Bowl LXII in 2028. This will mark Atlanta's fourth Super Bowl, with the last one held in February 2019 when the New England Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams 13-3.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell praised Atlanta's hospitality and sports culture, stating, "Atlanta is a world-class event destination and a natural fit for Super Bowl 62." Falcons owner Arthur M. Blank expressed gratitude, saying, "This is a tremendous honor for the city of Atlanta and the state of Georgia... Mercedes-Benz Stadium was built to host the world's largest sporting events." The event is expected to drive significant economic development and community engagement, thanks to Blank's commitment to philanthropy and sports.
Atlanta is gearing up to showcase its vibrant culture and hospitality once again. Can we expect another unforgettable championship experience?
