The Denver Broncos have Unveiled a new Uniform Design

By: Sean Davis 4/23/24

The Denver Broncos uniforms showcase several distinct details that pay homage to Denver's identity as the "Mile High City". The jersey numbers utilize a custom typeface that blends traditional block numbers with the team's distinctive font, and are adorned with upward-pointing triangles - a visual cue to the city's elevation.

Triangle clusters can be found throughout the uniform, including on the helmet, beneath the sleeves, and integrated into the two-color pants striping. The significance of these triangles is clear - they serve as a constant reminder of Denver's unique location.

Furthermore, the Broncos have added "5280" to the nose bumpers of both their navy and white helmets, directly referencing the city's elevation in feet above sea level. This number is also incorporated into the pants striping, appearing alongside the triangles.

The Broncos have also made changes to the helmet design, replacing the pointed stripes with a metallic satin finish and incorporating triangle clusters. The navy helmet is intended to be paired with the orange and white jerseys, while the white helmet is reserved for the team's alternate navy look.
