This quarterback class boasts a number of exciting prospects who have the potential to become franchise players.
Caleb Williams stands out as the top talent in the group, showcasing his athleticism and elite playmaking abilities. Although his performance in the 2023 season didn't quite live up to his outstanding Heisman run in 2022, this USC standout will likely be the first pick.
Jayden Daniels' slender build may raise concerns for some teams, but those interested will be captivated by his dynamic playmaking potential. The reigning Heisman Trophy winner shines as a dual-threat quarterback, displaying exceptional skills both as a runner and a passer.
Drake Maye had a disappointing final season in Chapel Hill, but his prototypical size and exceptional arm talent still draw plenty of attention from scouts. Standing at 6-foot-4 3/8 and weighing 223 pounds, he possesses the raw attributes that most NFL coordinators desire in a franchise quarterback.
Bo Nix is an honorable mention. His talent clearly stands out, although some of his flashy production can be attributed to the design of the Oregon offense. Nix appears more than ready to attack the league with an NFL-caliber skill set.
JJ McCarthy is gaining momentum as a successful quarterback, boasting an impressive 27-1 record as a starter at Michigan. While there may be concerns about his limited experience as a pure pocket passer in a run-first offense, scouts rave about his athleticism, arm talent, and intangibles.
Michael Penix Jr. is known for his natural ability to throw deep balls, consistently delivering accurate passes to receivers on vertical routes. Although his extensive injury history may scare away some, teams looking for a big-play threat may be enticed to take a chance on this Washington passer.
Honorable Mention: Spencer Rattler is a very interesting and could be a day 2 pick.
